If you want to become rich in life first of all drop all the classical concept of what you have learned of using your money.

Follow the concept that"spend like a beggar and invest like a king".

Investment is the best thing one can do to become rich ,rather than spending one can invest money to make more money from your money.

Putting your money in bank is not a good choice as banks interest rate is somewhat equal to the inflation rate of the country so either you will lower the value of your money or you will add negligible amount to your money which is not an intelligent choice to do. Rather you can do is to invest your money in FD, MUTUAL FUND,SIP etc which will give you a good interest rate, start investing from lower amount like 500 rs per month then increase the amount as per you start knowing the stock market and be consistent in your investment.

This can be done when you will save first 20% of your salary for yourself for investment. 

Have a medical insurance for you and your family so that you are ready for adverse situation which can drain all your wealth. 

Have a life insurance.

Keep your hands away from loans and emi for home,cars etc loans will make you slave,it is better to live one rent with much lower amount than to give loan of 70% of your salary and live in your home in this case you are not the owner you are a loaner ,you will never become rich by doing this.

Rather invest in real estate by your savings and try increasing your passive income more than your salary.

Real estate investment have there appreciating value.
