When we talk about Dahi/Curd we know that it is made from milk, so it belongs to the dairy family.It is among the most common product to be consumed.
So let's talk about the benefits of the Dahi in muscle building and digestion.
Curd contains about 20% of whey protein and 80%casien protein . The content of casien is more which is a slow digesting protien it makes us feel full.
Curd/ yoghurt has so many health benefits.The homemade  yoghurt 100 gm contains about 4gm protien,5 grams carbohydrates,and about 3.5 gm of fat along with many minerals the main constituents of yoghurt is "calcium" in 1 serving of yoghurt contains about 300 mg which is about 30% of the daily requirement.








Calcium Is vert essential mineral for bone health.It also contains vitamin B2 and B12.
Many people have lactose intolerance i.e. they can't digest lactose which is in ample amount in milk they can't consume milk but they can consume yoghurt in which there is less amount of lactose.
The main characteristics of yoghurt is that this contains probiotic which helps in digestion and absorption of food.Probiotic is gut bacteria which is a good bacteria in the digestive tract. Lack of good bacteria in the digestive tract imbalances the digestive system generally during winter infection the good bacteria in the body lowers down at that time yoghurt in a diet can make a difference.
Yoghurt also decrease the chances of inflammatory bowel disease.
Yoghurt helps reducing blood pressure.
Casien present in yoghurt helps absorbing minerals like calcium and phosphorous.
Yoghurt has tonnes of benefits anyone can consume it except the ones having dairy allergy.

For muscle building I will suggest fat free yoghurt in which a serving of 250 gm contains 10 gm protein and 12 gm of carbs.Avoid using yoghurt post and pre workout and rest of the day u can take it.
Daily 1 serving of yoghurt is good enough in a diet for a healthy lifestyle.
I will recommend to consume low fat or no fat yoghurt.
